Chariton Valley and Foundation for Rural Services 
One $2,500 National Scholarship, four local $500 Scholarships, and one $500 Technology Scholarship.  Scholarships are available to students whose parents/guardians receive their local telephone service from Chariton Valley Telephone Corporation. Applicants must have at least a C average.

Dr. Darrell “Jack" Holley/MUSIC Scholarship
The Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC) scholarship. MUSIC members are designated into three enrollment size categories: small, medium and large. Six scholarships (two in each category) of $2,000.00 each (nonrenewable) will be awarded to 2017 graduating seniors of districts that are MUSIC members.

All students from Special Ed COOP districts are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applications will only be considered if students indicate a strong desire to be a physical therapy assistant, occupational therapy assistant, or speech/language pathology assistant.

Macon Electric Foundation Scholarship

$1,000.00 scholarship available
Eligibility: Recipients must permanently reside in the Macon Electric Cooperative service area. However, they do not have to be a cooperative member. Recipients must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or other postsecondary institution (trade or technical) within the United States and must demonstrate evidence of financial need.

COME HOME SCHOLARSHIP

Macon County EDC will offer a $1,000 scholarship. Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA, and demonstrate a genuine intent of returning to Macon County upon completion of schooling/training.

Bill and Lavern Jackson Farms Memorial Scholarship
Due: April 1, 2017

$500 scholarship to a student pursing an appropriate certification in fields related and supportive to agriculture. This includes but not limited to: welding, diesel and farm machinery repair, and agricultural degree. Applicants must be enrolled as a full time student starting the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded. Red Cross High School Scholarship Program
Scholarship will be awarded based on total productive units achieved during the designated time frame. Students must be an active participant in the high school blood drive program and should exhibit a leadership role in the coordination and recruitment of blood drives.

The Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarships are intended for high achieving students in need of financial assistance in order to attend college.  Seniors must have a 3.5 GPA or higher, composite score of 23 or higher on the ACT, and graduate from a public high school having fewer than 50,000 residents.

STAATS AWARDS & MISSOURI ASSOCIATION OF FAIRS & FESTIVALS PAST PRESIDENTS SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must participate in and list name and dates of a MAFF member fair to be eligible for this scholarship.

The United States JCI Senate Foundation
The United States JCI Senate Foundation awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the United States who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools.
The Missouri JCI Senate will pick 2 nominees to represent Missouri for the US JCI Senate scholarships. The Missouri JCI Senate will present these 2 winners each a $250 scholarship. There will be four $250 scholarships given. This is available to Missouri residents only.

Youth in Agriculture Scholarship
Individuals must have participated in the Missouri State Fair as a youth exhibitor in the FFA or 4-H divisions. Individuals must be high school seniors at time of application and be an active 4-H or FFA member at the time that the scholarship is awarded. Active membership is based on the national constitution guidelines for FFA and state guidelines for 4-H. Students must enroll in an accredited community college, college or university in the state of Missouri and must major in Agriculture. Youth members who have sold livestock in any past Sale of Champions at the Missouri State Fair are not eligible for this scholarship.
